Accident Insurance
Excess Accident Medical Coverage, after your personal insurance has paid up to it’s limit, CIMA will pay up to $25,000 for medical treatment, hospitalization and licensed nursing care required as the result of a covered accident.

Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage, in addition to the accident medical coverage, the underwriter will pay $2,500 (to the named beneficiary) for loss of life or up to $2,500 for loss of limbs, occurring as the result of a covered accident.

Exclusions to Accident Insurance - The following is representative of loses that are not covered under this plan:  The cost of medical or surgical treatment or nursing services rendered by any person employed or related to the volunteer, or any loss caused by abdominal hernia, however caused; bacterial infections; any form of sickness or disease.

Volunteer Liability Insurance

Personal Injury or a Property Damage Liability Claim - All registered volunteers (collectively) of an organization are provided with Volunteer Liability Insurance at a limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence, in excess of and non-contributing with any other valid and collective insurance the volunteer may have.

Exclusions to Volunteer Liability Insurance - The following is representative of loses not covered under this plan: Injury or damages arising out of the use of an automobile (that is covered under the Excess Automobile Liability Insurance) aircraft or watercraft; errors or omissions in connection with the volunteer’s professional services; personal injury resulting from assault and battery committee by or at the direction of the volunteer; property damage to property in the care, custody or control of the volunteer; injury or damage by any person who is a part of, or associated with, a work release or court-ordered program.

Excess Automobile Liability Insurance protects the registered volunteer driver for bodily injury or property damage claims arising out of volunteer duties or driving directly from the volunteer’s home to a volunteer site, or back, up to $50,000 each accident, after the volunteer’s personal automobile insurance has paid as much as it will.

Exclusions to Excess Automobile Liability Insurance - The following is representative of loses not covered under this plan: Liability assumed by the volunteer under any contract or agreement; any obligation under worker’s compensation; property damage to property owned or transported by the volunteer; any automobile being used as a public livery conveyance; damage to the volunteer’s automobile.
